About

Led by a vision to build a world class cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility in Australia, Cannaponics is on a mission to put people, planet, and profit at the forefront to close the gap on the growing patient demand for premium grade plant-based pain relief.
Independent research studies have shown that the chosen site in the South West of Western Australia is the optimum climate for growing cannabis, and with a 3,600 sqm greenhouse delivering a controlled environment, the production facility is operated entirely on solar energy and rainwater. This in tandem with our vertically integrated system, allows Cannaponics to bypass the middlemen costs, and could reduce major costs of goods by up to 60% – while still offering a superior quality product. Being vertically integrated confirms the delivery of both controlled production size and quality in all areas, solidifying the emerging leader’s strength in cultivating top quality medicinal cannabis

Frequently asked questions

Our Cannabinolgy

In a world filled with dichotomies the Cannabis industry is no different. THC vs CBD, Broad leaf fast flowers vs narrow leaf long finishers, hydroponic or soil, indoor or out, sea of green or single pot giants there is a lot of debate about what is best. At Cannaponics we are taking a different approach. We are flexing our more than two decades of experience working directly with patients and we have been listening.
Cannabis is as unique as its patients. We respect that a variety of genetics is necessary for success. We combine the best of both worlds with our climate-controlled glasshouse reaping the benefits of the brilliant full spectrum light only the sun can offer. While maintaining control of the environment to protect our patients medicine allowing the plants to thrive. The result is highest quality, consistent medicine harvest after harvest.

Our Facility

The Cannaponics flagship facility, internally 3,600 sqm greenhouse is a controlled environment and the production facility is operated entirely on solar energy and rainwater. Being vertically integrated also means we can control both production size and quality in all areas. Cannaponics have developed and refined our process of cultivation, harvest, and drying, which now includes the use of radiant energy vacuum technology (REV). In a nutshell, REV is a drying method that runs at a rapid but low temperature, allowing the cannabis to retain its nutrients, colour, aroma, and overall unique quality (turpentines), as well as preserving 20% more cannabinoids (CBD and TCH) than traditional rack drying aims to be one of the only cannabis companies that can harvest fresh flowers in the morning and ship finished packaged oil and flowers in the afternoon. Cannaponics production is set to benefit not only patients, but the job market too. With Australian prescriptions predicted to reach 30,000 kg by 2024 – half of which has traditionally been imported – our objective of creating job opportunities through local, perpetual and scaled production will not only help fill the supply gap, but be an invaluable advantage to the old mining town of WA, Collie.
